Recommended Way to Open the Ladder:

1.Open from the top and collapse from the bottom.
2.Open all steps to their fullest extent.
For shorter ladder use, fully open the top and collapse the bottom. Do not adjust the middle section. Ensure all steps are locked before ascending.

Discouraged Way to Open the Ladder:
1.The middle step is halfway open and halfway closed.
2.The middle step is not fully extended, creating a false lock.
